Price Lock — Terms of Service

What the Price Lock Does

The Price Lock is an optional service for pieces composed in our custom charm builder. For a non-refundable fee of $99 USD, you may reserve the current prices on every component of your designed piece for a period of 48 hours from the time of purchase. During those 48 hours the total of your designed piece will not change even if the spot price of gold moves.

Who It’s For

Price Lock is intended for guests who need time to reflect on a high-consideration commission or coordinate a gift. You must be signed in to an Ilene Joy account at the time of lock purchase so we can associate the lock with your profile.

How It Works

  1. Compose your piece in the charm builder.
  2. Click “Lock Price” — you will be prompted to sign in if you haven’t already.
  3. Proceed to checkout to pay the $99 lock fee. Your design is not charged at this step.
  4. Within 48 hours, return to your account area, open the locked design, and complete the checkout. The piece will be billed at the locked prices.
  5. If you do not complete your design purchase within 48 hours, the lock expires. The $99 fee is not refunded.

Non-Refundable Fee

The $99 Price Lock fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including (but not limited to) the customer deciding not to proceed with the designed piece, changes to the design during the lock window, or inability to complete checkout.

Credit Toward Purchase

If you complete the design purchase within the 48-hour window, the $99 lock fee is credited toward the total of the designed piece at checkout. In effect, the fee becomes a deposit.

Scope of the Lock

The lock covers prices for the exact design configuration submitted. If you change chain variant, add or remove charms, switch Magic Middles, or adjust the lariat after the lock is created, a new lock will be required for the modified configuration. The original $99 is not transferable to the new design.

Changes to This Policy

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your Price Lock purchase governs that lock.
